It is still valentine day, our players are very happy for the victory over Yobe State. The game ended 1-0 in favour of Lagos State (Oasis football academy).
The players left their hotel at about 12:30pm Nigeria time for the game against Yobe State at Mahaha Sports Complex in Kano State.

how we stated against Yobe State

This was the goodwill message sent by the MD/CEO of Oasis Football Club via Whatsapp “The good Lord will grant them favour, I’m praying for them and I know they will win and bring the cup to Lagos

The first half ended 0-0, in the second half of the game our boys came out with a fresh determination, they played good football but the defense line of Yobe State were solid and very organized and they had answers to all the questions asked by the front line of team Lagos (Oasis football academy).
In the 65th minute of the game, Lagos state Jersey Number 10 Lawal Muhammed tapped  the ball into the net from a close range.

Yobe State team were determined to equalize but Habeeb and the rest of the defense line did very well to ensure that goalkeeper Farouq was not exposed.
The game ended 1-0 in favour of team Lagos State (Oasis football academy).
Our team would play their second match tomorrow 15th February 2018 at the same venue by 10am Nigeria time.

MAN OF THE MATCH: to be sincere the whole team really worked hard to secure the 3 points in their first match in group D, but EMMANUEL OKOLO was outstanding in his position, left back. He was consistent in his department and also supported the attack.

The boys came back to the hotel (Kano Guest Inn) very happy and ready for the next challenge tomorrow against team Edo State.

The players had Eba for dinner around 8pm and they are all resting in their room now.
