Academy team, News

Good evening every one, today our players had mixed feeling in the camp. They lost their match against Edo state 1- 0 but still qualified for the round of sixteen. Lagos state (Oasis football academy) coach Wakeel Tunde, started with the same players that won the game against Yobe State yesterday. In spite the defeat, Lagos State finished second place in group G, with 3 points while Edo State and Yobe State finished with 6 points and 0 point respectively.

Goalkeeper: Oyenuga Farouq
Defenders : Chimezie (2) Emmanuel (3) Habeeb (5) Ismail (6)
Midfielders : Udofia (4) Favour (8) Lawal (10)
Attackers : Moses (7) Miracle (9) Samuel (9) (Captain)

Fortunately for our boys, the MD/CEO of Oasis Football Club; Madam Gloria Auta flew in to Kano State from Lagos State to support her boys, but she came after the match.
The Md/CEO advised the players to put more effort in their next match, and she told them she is very happy and proud of the whole team.

The next match would be against Sokoto State in a round of sixteen game at the Mahaha Sports Complex Kano State by 10:30am Nigeria time.
The players are positive and they all believe they can move to the next stage of the competition (Ramat Cup) after their match against Sokoto State tomorrow.

Some result from today’s matches:
Plateau 0 vs Kano 2, Kwara 1 vs FTC 1, Ogun 0 vs Kogi 1, Edo 2 vs Yobe 1.

All the round of sixteen matches would be played tomorrow in the same venue.

Our players had a post match meeting with the coaching crew at 8:45pm immediately after dinner; they had jollof rice and salad.
Our boys are sleeping now.
Good night everybody. #INSIDEKANO
